Some people need to feel beautiful.
Some people need to feel strong.
Some people thing that one's the other,
And everyone is right, but everyone is wrong,
'Cause beauty's in the eye of the beholder,
And strength cannot be measured in words,
But strength is beautiful, and beauty is strong,
And it doesn't really matter whatever else you've heard.
Some people want to feel young again.
Some people want to finally be older.
Some people think it's perfect where they are,
And so these people are the bolder.
'Cause they're happy with the way they've lived the past,
And they're patient enough to wait for what's ahead,
And they know exactly what they're doing now,
And they're doing it in spite of what anyone else said.
Some people are thirsting for knowledge.
Some people are starving for power.
Some people think that they're the same,
But these people's minds have turned sour,
Knowledge is the source of all power,
And power is the source of all greed,
But knowledge cannot feed the craving.
Knowledge only tells you what it is you need.
Some people rule the world.
Some people try to let it be.
Some people try to make it better.
Some people are me.
